Here is another gift item that I just started working on tonight. I was looking for the free pattern or the instructions to make this and found many easy ones to follow on the internet. This is something I don't have but it would be nice to have it when I sew. Some of you have guessed right by now. Yes, it is going to be a thread catcher!!! :)
Most instructions don't mention anything about quilting to the top, but I will quilt it with simple lines and hopefully finish it up by this weekend.
Just a quick update about Christmas project part 2!!

very cute thread catcher.. you know that sheep one that says "look up" would be an excellent one to put on a thread catcher as well.. I just finished making one someone gave me an idea for the opening you might want to try. The dollar store has the head bands for hair and they keep the opening better shaped then the canvas...
