Scrap Tote to be

Compared to other quilters out there, I don't have much fabrics to be used actively (hehe). I mean that I have old fabrics that I used to love but no longer my taste. I don't want to toss them just in case if I might need them someday for any reason.
Since I really don't go shopping for fabrics for a while as bread & butter are more important for whole family right now (ughhhhh, economy!!), I try to use up some scraps to make something to use every day like an utility quilt.
So tonight I decided to use some flannel stash and cut them in 3 x 1 1/2" of rectangles. I also wanted to use a little bit of wool so I appliqued a couple of flowers on the sage color flannel. This is going to be a casual winter tote, I hope.

Speaking of the winter, I have been enjoying watching college football games. I don't have any favorite team (well, I can hear "GO BUCKS" from somewhere... lol), but I just love to watch games and the excitement of the season. I also like NFL games with no particular team to root for. Anyway, it is going to be another fun day on Thanksgiving for the games to watch.
Of course, I am looking forward to gathering with in-laws with nice dinner. Thank you, sis-in-law!

Happy quilting!!
