8 more days...

Mr. & Mrs. Claus are getting ready for Christmas. Here is the live picture by my daughter to show what they are up to. See some cookies on the table and elves look very busy packing toys for boys & girls... Wonder if I will get some goodies this year?!

This is what I was working on for the last few days. Just a simple tote again and I like it.
I am going to make two more totes or simple purses by Christmas... You know, I realize at every Christmas time that I should have started working on the handmade stuff earlier, but I've never made it in time.

The back side also looks simple. Hand quilt stitch makes this tote very cozy and warm. I'm glad that I quilted by hand for this. Machine quilt is fast and convenient but I'd rather take longer time to quilt by hand.

I put a magnet button in the center to secure closure. I also put the inner pocket to keep the car keys in there.

What a difference that tote makes for the Christmas tree!! (just kidding!!)

Happy quilting!!
