Un...

I knew that was coming eventually.
I am now officially unemployed. Today I registered a couple of job search sites and some have already contacted me to ask for my resume. You know, I thought job marketing would be hopeless but I guess there are still many jobs available, just it depends on what the people can sell to get them. I never imagined I would be one of those job seekers but once I am now and have extra time like this, I can think about what I would like to do much more seriously and positively instead of losing my temper or hiding my emotion.

As I stay home until I get a job, I can spend 24/7 with my daughter, most likely this whole summer!! I have not been able to spend such a long time with her since she was born as I had a full time job, I really appreciate this situation in a way. I know our budget will be getting tighter than ever, but my heart and feeling are getting filled with a lot of love and friendship from my family and people around me.

So please pray for me and my family and I will keep my chin up.
I know there is a hope out there.

Happy quilting!!

So sorry that you lost your job. So many are experiencing the same thing.
You probably have enough fabric stored up to do lots of sewing projects. And do enjoy the summer with your daughter. I quit my job a couple times to stay home with my kids during the summer. It was worth it.

Hi there,

I am lucky to be a stay-at-home mom and love being able to share lots of wonderful moments with my daughter, so give it a go and build some beautiful memories for both of you. Hopefully one day she'll remember that summer as one of her best!

Oh, my....I'm so sorry. I've been absent from the computer in many respects and thought to check out my favorites and I'm so sad for your news! Sounds like you have a great attitude and that will go far! Plus I just LOVE your blog style!

Good luck with the job search. I hope you find just the right one. But like you said, isn't it going to be great to spend more time with your daughter! I never got to spend time like that with my kids, one thing I"ve always wished I could have.
